<<< Sigh >>>

Just came back from the Bears game. It was god-awful.

We've spent an entire season faithfully rooting for them, and in the end they played like... well... the Northwestern Wildcats.

(I know that was mean. I don't care. I'm depressed and angry.)

And to add insult to injury, when we got home, we found out that the Bears game went past the allotted TV time and so Tivo lost 15 minutes of the premiere of 24.

Boooooo.

Curling up into a ball now.

Unacceptable! Do you need me to put 24 on a video and mail it? I'll do it!!

Jeanne, I'm sorry for your loss...both of them, actually, but especially your loss of 24. There would be civil unrest if such a thing were to happen in my apartment. "No Jack, no peace!"

I hope you were consoled by last night's episode, and sufficiently caught up by the "previouslies."

If not, I suppose there's always televisionwithoutpity.com....

Thank you both for your kind words. I found out a customer service rep at my office that watches it, introduced myself, and he was sweet enough to share with me what happened.

Actually, who am I kidding... it went more like this...

.Com office - 8:30 am

Jeanne: (As she walks in, hollering over 20 open cubes) Did anyone watch 24 last night?

Customer Service Rep #1: (in a sheepish tone) I did.

Jeanne: Who was that? Identify yourself!!

Customer Service Rep #1: (after a beat) Me! (In a nervous tone) I'm over here in cube B45!

Jeanne: For the love of God, please come over here right now and tell me what happened in the last 15 minutes!

He detangled himself from his headset, came over, and quickly caught me up.

Hooray for Customer Service Rep #1!
