Not many women can say they're the proud daughter of a certifiable poker champion, but this week my mom outright won the Texas Hold 'em tournament at her favorite casino in Reno. It was an 80 person tournament and she whooped them all!! Wooo! Way to go mom!

About Us
If you're here, you probably know me and are curious as to what's up with us these days, which is exactly what I wanted from this site. I'm lazy and yet, strangely, also an efficiency freak, so blogging is an easy way of keeping friends and family updated without repeating myself.
If you don't know me personally and somehow found your way here, below are the breakdowns for the sweet little family you're lurking in on:
JLA - Me. Back to working full time. Figuring out how to be a working mom while remembering my own.
JHA - Adored Husband. New Stay at Home dad.
Audball - Born 12/7/2008. Professional toddler. Working at home as the center of attention.
The Big Man, Mr. Giggles - 6 months old and full of rolly polly love.
Weasels - Cranky old felines who I now neglect so badly it should be criminal.
Visiting for the first time?
Catch up here.
Have something to tell me?
JLA ~at~ Laplanderson.com
Want to link to me?
First, really? Why? OK, fine, sure. But if you happen to know me in real life, please don't use my name in the link. You can call me JLA, or LaPlanderson. And yes, you can call me paranoid too. But there are weirdos out there. Besides those in my family and close circle of friends. Thanks.
