Rocky Mountain Weekend

It's so nice when my lovely husband comes out to Denver. Not only does it spare me the hassle and fatigue of a couple of flights, but without housework, pets, or any other obligations here in Colorado we get to have pure fun.

This weekend, we got a double dose of Anderson goof off time, because R&M came out to Colorado too. They treated us to a drinks and a Rockies game. We treated them to breakfast, and, well, more drinks. :-) After they headed home, J and I made our way to the Monolith music festival at Red Rocks. Between the gorgeous surroundings, the warm summer breezes and the fantastic music, I couldn't have asked for a better night. Maybe I'm not too old for music festivals after all?
