This is a picture of a ranch I used to go to for summer camp way back when. It's in Malibu, and yes, that's snow.
I remember once when I was really young a (very very short) little flurry of snow hit LA and it seemed like the most magical thing ever. Actually even now, when the first snowfall of the season hits Chicago I'm awed a bit.
Sighhhh.
Soon after though (like any other grown woman in the midwest) I find myself making puppy eyes at my husband and begging him to shovel for me.

I'm mad that Malibu got snow and Altadena didn't. We have elevation here! We're right next to the mountains! Where's the justice??
You actually got Justin to shovel snow with the puppy eyed look. What have you done to him?
