So I'm up at 4 am wondering...
1) When will my right leg stop aching?
2) Why did I have to have the second margarita? When will I learn?
3) How can we reconfigure the horrible kitchen in the new house?
Hmmm. Shockingly, stewing on these thoughts is not helping me get back to sleep.
Let's focus on the positive, shall we?
* On the whole, the new house is fantastic.
* We accepted an offer on the condo.
* My lovely friend Jason C. is coming into town from NYC this weekend and I can't wait to have breakfast with him and catch up.
Feeling better now. Hey, has anyone read The World is Flat? I bought a copy last weekend and I'm wondering if it may be the cure I'm looking for. In an hour I'll either be fascinated and distracted from the abovementioned items, or asleep.

Hey Homeowners!
I haven't personally read The World Is Flat, but I paid an eight year-old in Delhi a doller seventy-five to read and synopsize the book; happy to forward Raju's comments (note: if you're an AT&T customer, you may already know Raju, only you probably know him has "Sammy" but I digress...)
Happy to read about the good news (re: condo selling; move to Oak Park), and while this comment has very little to do with the original post above, I thought I'd check in to let you Andersons know that I enjoy reading the updates.
As for me: I'm spending my summer working for the U.S. Attorney's Office, which is odd in that for three months I'm "the Feds". I'm currently on the child pornography beat, which means: (1) my Google cache is frightening, and enough to quell any aspiration for public office, and (2) my TiVo now has "Dateline NBC + How To Catch a Child Preditor" as a command, which had rippling effects on the programs TiVo subsequently recommends. Other than that, things are well.
xoxo
Mike
